Farewell Father

Being deployed just before Christmas calls for a photo shoot.

This is my daughter coming down a tubular slide at Farmstead Corn Maze and Festival. I went down the slide just before her getting shot right out the other end. Too bad there wasn't a big bin of corn kernels at the other end to land softly in. That would have been fun! Which, the festival actually had...a big corn box (instead of sand box); which is way more fun that sand!

The disadvantage I have found with taking one's own family photo, using a timer, is that the photographer cannot catch last second pose changes by varying members of the family, thus throwing of the previously arranged positioning of hands and feet, and scrunched up sweaters! The flaws of demanding perfection.
